Stash
Delete your account
Last updated 3 October 2026
You can delete your Stash account at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
In the app
- Open the Profile tab and the gear for Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Type your username to confirm, then press and keep pressing to delete.
What is deleted
Your account and everything tied to it: profile, name and photo, activities and their routes, step totals, the Stashes you planted and your collection, friends, claps and comments, running plans, routes, support messages and push tokens. Nothing of it stays on your account.
What is not
- Notifications already sent to other people — a clap, a comment, a friend request, "collected your Stash" — stay in their notification centres and may keep your username and the first part of a comment.
- A Stash Plus subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel it — only the App Store or Google Play can. Cancel it there first; the Refund Policy says how.
- RevenueCat's purchase record, kept under a random identifier that no longer points to any Stash account.
- An internal log of when someone at Stash looked at or acted on the account, kept so that access is accountable. It keeps the account's id, the action, the reason, and — where a name, username or photo link was removed or reported — that value. Never your activities, routes or Stashes.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, write to support@stashgame.net from the email address on your account and ask for it to be deleted. Stash confirms by replying to that address, deletes the account, and tells you when it is done — within thirty days at most, usually within a few days.
Stash is for people aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to the same address and it will be deleted.
